2013 Porsche Boxster

New 2013 Boxster, which has undergone significant changes and is looking pretty fresh.

The open-top entry level Boxster has been given a whole new platform and body work, which has helped the car shed some weight resulting in better fuel efficiency and power to weight ratio.

The car is scheduled to be unveiled at the Geneva motor show in March, but Porsche has given out some preliminary details before unveiling the car.

Design Upgrade
Changes in design are more evolutionary than revolutionary. Still Porsche has managed to dish out a handsome design. The new square shaped headlamps, the wider stance and shorter overhangs, add to the character of the car. The new design seamlessly masks the increased length and width of the platform.
The new Boxster would be equipped with larger 20-inch alloys. The interior of the 2013 Boxster is inspired from the 2012 911. A fully electric top would close the cabin space and the company suggests that the cabin space for driver and passenger has increased in the new design.


Performance
Boxsters are known for their performance and the new model certainly won't disappoint. The standard Boxster will be powered by a 2.7 liter flat-six engine with direct fuel injection that churns out 265 horsepower, 10 hp higher than previous model.
The more powerful Boxster S would be powered by a 3.4 liter six cylinder engine generating 315 hp, which is a marginal increase over the previous model (by 5hp). The engine is available with a 7 speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or a 6 speed manual transmission.

The performance of the Boxster has always been top notch. The new standard Boxster does the 0-60mph dash in 5.4 seconds while the Boxster S takes 4.7 seconds for the same run, both with the automatic transmission.

The lighter chassis and body work of the new Boxster translates in better fuel economy as well and customers can expect an increase of 15%.
The 2013 Porsche Boxster is expected to hit the showrooms by summer. Expect the starting price tag to be around $49,500 for the standard model and $60,900 for the sportier Boxster S.

2012 Porsche 911 Carrera 991

Porsche 911 Carrera 991 often described as a luxury sports coupe, the original Nine Eleven model has undergone various changes since its inception in the early 1960’s. Nonetheless, the rear-engine, independent rear suspension and the Carrera’s unique looks have largely remained the same.

After five incarnations of the distinct 911 design, Porsche has revealed the new flagship model of the company – the 991.

Performance
As the succeeding model for the outgoing 997, the 991 Carrera will have a 3.4-liter engine that is very much capable of producing up to 345 hp. The current direct injection from the Carrera S will also be available. The 3.8-liter 6 flat engine of this model is estimated to generate a staggering 394 hp.

Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid

After gaining positive reviews from the previous model, the Porsche Cayenne is undergoing modifications for a brand new look with a new aerodynamic body and an elaborate vein set up of the off road coupe for the Vantage GTR 2. The new body features front and rear spoiler bumpers with a new bonnet, widened fenders and a diffuser on the rear.

The appealing new design of the Porsche Cayenne will be powered by an improved engine performance of 550 up to 750 hp. The project for the new model is well under way in TopCar’s state of the art tuning factory and with prospect units already being designed and tested, it will only be a matter of time before TopCar produces another winning fine tuned Porsche Cayenne Vantage model.

2011 Porsche Panamera RS600 Project Kahn

There’s a lot to expect from big time British tuning company Project Kahn. Under the creative direction of Afzal Kahn, the tuning specialists have place their hand on Audi, Rolls Royce, Ashton Martin and other A list vehicles. Every one of Kahn’s creations are unique and his affair with the Porsche Panamera is causing quite a 
stir—in a positive way of course.

The Porsche Panamera RS600 is already a high performing vehicle as it is, and surprisingly Project Kahn left it as it is. Well at least for the engine part. The Panamera’s 3.6-liter V6 is a tough cookie with 300 horsepower. Experts at Kahn agree that it’s the best available as of now.
Project Kahn made most of the modifications on the Panamera’s exterior. The obvious changes include a modified rear bumper decorated with Bi-Xenon headlights. The vehicle now features a lowered suspension system. There are also additional side vents and sports exhaust in black satin. Lastly, a unique set of Kahn RS-600 wheels were added.



The interior is fully furnished with fine black leather, and further decorated with customized floor mats, heated seats and privacy glass. Project Kahn also integrated a multi-functional steering wheel into the package. The Park Assist remains a pretty neat feature along with the Porsche Vehicle Tracking System.

2012 JE Design Porsche Panamera

Porsche performance speaks for itself and can now be even sportier with aerodynamic, exterior upgrades fromJE Design, a German car tuning company.

Moving the car in a sporty direction, with a newly designed front skirt, and rear spoiler, thePorsche Panamera looks more like a sports vehicle, and increases speed with the changes.

Altered States

Modifications on the power increase it to 300 BHP (Panamera Diesel) or 600 BHP (Panamera Turbo). JE Design Alterations include a front skirt design that optimizes intercooler air in-flow along with a fixed spoiler, replacing the extendable rear spoiler and with a complete rear skirt, with central air outlet, and diffuser.

Aiding in the handling of this soon to be classic is an electronically-adjusted, pneumatic air suspension system, which lowers the car's chassis by 20 to 30 mm. Not to mention the 22" alloy rims using Pandora design.

Daytime driving lights, with blinking LEDs have been integrated into the double-bar grill.

Performance

The Panamera, with its 4.8 liter, V8 twin, turbo engine guarantees Porsche performance. It has a seven-speed PDK, which is standard in all models. In addition it has Porsche Traction Management (PTM), Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR), and Direct Fuel Injection (DFI).

It includes Auto Start and Stop functionality, and VarioCam Plus, resulting in instant acceleration, and a smoother driving experience.

The fixed spoiler takes the Panamera in a sportier direction, along with its rear skirt, which has a removable covering integrated, for towing purposes. The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is retained, along with its three programs: Comfort, Sport, and Sport Plus.

Turbo or Diesel

Power packages for the Panamera Diesel and Turbo are also available. The diesel accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 6.5 seconds, with a top speed of 155 mph. The Panamera Turbo, using the JE Design control unit can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 188 mph.

Loaded Interior

The interior of the Porsche Panamera is roomy, and can be customized to be sporty, luxurious, or both. Some of the features include seating for four on smooth-finish leather, with seat warmer and controls. It also has an elevated center console for front and rear passengers along with fully electric seats, with integrated headrests.

Passenger and driver get pampered not just by simply sitting in one of these cars, if you like music, you’ll enjoy the Burmester and Bose Surround Sound Systems. You take your work on the road, the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system and the Mobile phone / Bluetooth connections allow you easy access to the rest of the world.
